An extraordinary regional cultural facility is taking shape in our community. The vision for the ArtsPark is of a dynamic environment where all South Florida residents and visitors will participate in enriching day-into-night activities. What does that mean exactly?

Picture a place where art, culture and life flow smoothly together at the convergence of the City's established commercial and time-honored residential neighborhoods. Twice the size of a large city block, the 10-acre ArtsPark at Young Circle will include cultural events and programs, art exhibitions and art classes. Visitors can stroll down landscaped walking paths, past plazas and lush greenery, a spectacular water sculpture and fountain, and an innovative children's play area.

The crowning jewel of the ArtsPark will be an amphitheater with 500 seats under roof and another 1,500 on a tiered lawn. Audiences of all ages will enjoy a year-round showcase of national and regional entertainment experiences.

Fulfilling the vision of the ArtsPark will take the collective resources of people who believe in its value as a shared community treasure and a vital attraction in transforming downtown Hollywood into a truly world-class destination.

I hope you will join us in creating and enjoying the region's most unique arts and entertainment venue - the ArtsPark at Young Circle.
